Drawing from yoga, pilates, aerobics and fitness, I use different modalities of movement that help improve your neuromuscular connections and create new movement patterns. I always start by assessing where you are. I use repetition and feedback to ensure you are learning and using the correct technique. But most importantly, I accompany you as you develop your own experience with movement and as you explore what works for your body.

Rehabilitating your post-injury body and getting back in shape
Having suffered myself from major injuries to my hands and spine, exercise techniques form yoga and Pilates have been my saviors. Whether you are recovering from a hip replacement surgery or are adjusting to get back in shape after an injury, I can help you use your body again the way you want it to. When that it is no longer possible, I can help you explore and learn how to compensate for any disabilities or irreversible damage. The body is a wonderful and malleable machine, it is there to serve you if you allow it to.
Building your yoga practice
My clients often tell me what they can and cannot do. “I am not the type of person that does handstands!”. So funny, because they always end up on their heads and in utter awe of what they were able to do. We limit ourselves with certain narratives that we construct in our heads. Yoga is an amazing path that helps you connect with your body and embrace movement. It is an ancient mind/body approach that gently helps you deconstruct all faulty misconceptions about what you and your body can do. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner, I can help you build out your practice using teachings I have learned from top yoga masters over three decades.
